Labelled by the maker: William Forster, Violin Violoncello, Tennor and Bow Maker to the their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales & Duke of Cumberland, London, and inscribed internally; Forster, 1789, Length of back 732mm (28 13/16in) of a deep red brown colour, light use and wear, a well preserved example, in case. (2)
