A Regency mahogany, ebony and brass inlaid breakfront secretaire side cabinet
Applied with gilt metal mounts, the rectangular inverted breakfront top with pierced gothic arch brass three-quarter gallery, above a secretaire drawer enclosing a later gilt tooled green leather, two ink pots, a compartment and a pen try; above a pair of concave doors, backed with pleated blue silk panels, enclosing a shelf, flanked by double Egyptian terms to each side, with gilded masks, applied with gilt metal flowerhead paterae and gilded feet, 108cm wide, 53cm deep, 91cm high (42.5" wide, 20.5" deep, 35.5" high).
