A French 19th century 'Renaissance revival' walnut library centre table
in the Henri IV/Louis XIII style
the rectangular top with an acanthus leaf and demi-rosette moulded edge, above a stiff leaf and patera carved frieze, on twin ring-turned columnar end supports headed with pierced leaf-wrapped scroll spandrels and acanthus clasped corbels, joined by a cross stretcher surmounted by three arches with ring turned columns below, terminating in acanthus capped outscrolled supports, possibly originally with a draw-leaf top, 100cm wide x 65cm deep x 79.5cm high, (39" wide x 25.5" deep x 31" high)
