A near pair of French late 19th century brass mounted and parcel gilt burr yew, tulipwood banded and ebonised card tables
with fruitwood and ivory stringing, each with a rectangular swivel hinged top, enclosing a baize lined playing surface, over a panel mounted frieze, on ring turned fluted twin columnar end supports, joined by conforming cross stretchers, terminating in downswept legs and castors, the tables of slightly differing size, one table: 92cm wide x 46cm deep x 75.5cm high, the other: 91.5cm wide x 45.5cm deep x 79cm high, (36" wide x 17.5" deep x 31" high) (2)
