Signed verge movement with pierced and engraved winged balance cock, silver regulation, square baluster pillars blued steel stop-work, silver dial with black Roman numerals and outer Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, polished silver case stamped EF for Edward Fletcher, polished silver outer hinged case with early daffodil engravings and a heraldic rose to the centre

  • In 1685 Francis Robinson was apprenticed to Henry Jones, himself apprenticed to Edward East, and was 'finished in the country in 1748.' He was also watchmaker to Frederick Louis, the Prince of Wales. (February 1707 – 20 March 1751)
