Footnotes
- Reverend John McCann was born in Kilgobinet 1842 and was ordained in 1869. He ministered in the parish of Waterford from 1872 to 1894 and was appointed Parish Priest of of Ring and Old Dungarvan on 27th October 1895. McCann remained there until the 4th September 1910 when he was appointed to Kill and Newton staying till his death on the 12th July 1914, aged 72. He is buried in Saint Thomas' church County Waterford.
This watch was presented by the the congregation of Staint Patricks Belfast on 4th October 1872 his return to his home diocese of Waterford.
