Gilt full plate fusee verge movement, 3-arm balance, pierced and engraved balance cock, silver regulation, squared baluster pillars, white enamel dial with 'JAMES THOMAS' and sun in place of hour numerals, outer black dot minute divisions with Arabic five minute markers, inner Arabic date divisions, gilt beetle and poker hands and arrow tipped calendar hand, polished 18ct gold inner case with 7 part hinge, painted horn and gilt metal outer case with fern design to the reverse, inner case stamped 'E.L', movement signed
