Footnotes

  • "The Skater at left originally appeared in a poster designed by Power and Andrews for the Londnon Passenger Transport Board in the 1930s; the poster advertized ice-hockey matches at the Empire Pool and Sports Arena, Wembley Park. The linocut retains the spirit of the 1930s, although it was made after Andrews had moved to Canada."
