- In 2009, to mark its 10th anniversary, the UK's largest music charity for young people, Youth Music, set-up a project called Destroy / Rankin - in which over 70 of the world's greatest musicians and visual artists were photographed by Rankin, and created new pieces of artwork by essentially 'destroying' one of the photographer's iconic portraits.
