  • The S.S. Otranto was buit by Workman, Clark at Belfast in 1909 for the Orient Steam Navigation Co., to serve on the Australian run. Converted to an armed merchant cruiser in WWI, she collided with the Kashmir on the 6th August 1918 off Islay, and sank.
