Diary, approximately 200 pages, includes a trip to Canada for fishing and hunting ("...shot some jays & other birds for specimens"), a few entries scored out but perhaps recoverable, name and address "The Ridding, Bentham, Yorkshire" on flyleaf, black leather, the lock cut away, 1857-59, 8vo and 4to; and 5 others (7)
