Images include: a man in winter dress drinking tea (illustrated); street vendors; winter scenes of snow and a frozen river, including an elderly lady being pulled on a make-shift sledge; views of the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace, including The Marble Boat; five views of the Great Wall of China; bound feet; a farrier, and carpenters and barbers at work.
