A pair of Royal presentation cufflinks
Presented by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, circa 1960, each cufflink composed of oval panel terminals with chain-link connections between, highlighted in blue enamel with the Order of the Garter with initial E, and the conjoined initials 'WE' for Wallace and Edward, with coronet above, length of each panel 1.85cm.

Footnotes

  • By repute, these cufflinks were presented to James Arthur Masters CVO, by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in the 1960s, during a visit to Paris. Masters served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Lord Revelstoke and was later decorated as Commander of the Royal Victorian Order by Elizabeth II, for personal service.
