A Lady, wearing dark blue square-necked dress edged with white lace, a burnt orange stole draped about her, long coral beads suspended from her neck, her raven hair, parted, curled and worn short.
Gold frame, the reverse with border of blue glass surrounding gold-mounted aperture, glazed to reveal plaited hair, the front of the suspension loop engraved A.t.B., the back of the suspension loop engraved Je.P.; together with a further miniature portraying the head of a Lady surrounded by clouds and blue sky, her parted hair curled, upwept and dressed with a large comb (English School, circa 1820), framed within an embossed brass mount on a rectangular wooden base.
