Sir Thomas William Moffett (1820-1908), President of Queens College, Galway, wearing charcoal grey coat and waistcoat, white chemise and black necktie.
Signed on the obverse M Ball, signed on the reverse and dated Sir Thomas Moffett/ President of/ Queens College/ Galway/ Posthumous Portrait/ painted in 1926/ by/ Maud Ball, gilt-metal frame; together with two miniatures portraying gentlemen (English School, circa 1780 and circa 1840), and a further portrait miniature of a lady painted over a photographic base (English School, circa 1910), gilt-metal frames.
Oval, the title miniature: 60mm (2 3/8in) high (4)
