Footnotes

  • The "Concordia" has a note of provenance under the title signed by L.M. Rezzi, collector and sometime librarian of the Barberini and Corsini libraries in Rome, stating that this imperfect work derives from the library of Pius VII, who obtained it from Cardinal Zelada, at whose residence the author lived and died, and that, being imperfect, it was left to Rezzi by the Pope, through his librarian.
