Single leaf, from a Book of Hours, black ink, on vellum, 18 lines (text-block 83 x 60mm.), one 2-line initial "B" against a burnished gold backgroung with ornamental flourish in margin, other capitals in alternate burnished gold and blue with penwork, line-fillers in red and blue, small illustration of a green bird in one upper margin, 133 x 100mm., [?Northern France, c.1450]
