  • First edition of the earliest Turkish grammar to be printed in England, and one of the earliest to be printed in Ottoman characters, by William Seaman (c.1606-1680), who travelled to Constantinople in the service of Sir Peter Wyche, English ambassador from 1628 to 1639.
