A Gentleman, seated before drapery upon a red upholstered chair, wearing black double-breasted coat, brown breeches, white waistcoat, chemise, stock and cravat, secured with a gold stickpin, he holds an open book in his hands.
Gilt-mounted on papier-mache frame; together with two portrait miniatures portraying a lady (English School, circa 1820) and a gentleman smoking a pipe (English School, Late 19th Century), gilt-mounted on papier-mache frames; and a further oval miniature of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb (1618-1707) (Company School, c.1860), gilt-metal locket frame.
