Of Cricketing Interest: a Mintons MCC 1787-1937 barrel shape mug, with banded decoration,13cm.

Two Derby figures of John Milton and William Shakespeareand another of Old Father Time clipping the wings of Cupid, circa 1790 and 1770 The figures both standing beside plinths with puce painted cloaks, gilt lined canted rectangular bases, 27cm, patch marks, the other figure group on scroll moulded base with various attibutes, 21cm, patch marks, together with Two Derby figure groups and a small figure of a boy, circa 1775-80 One figure group modelled with a boy and girl beside a tree, emblematic of Summer and Autumn, 22.5cm, the other emblematic of Music, modelled with a standing female playing a flute, a cherub below holding a violin, 22cm, incised no 217, the boy playing a pipe with a dog at his feet, 10.5cm (6)

A Derby coffee cup and saucer and slop bowl by Zachariah Boreman,and a beaker, circa 1775-80 The coffee cup and saucer and slop bowl fluted, painted with circular landscape vignettes within blue line and gilded borders, saucer 13.5cm, slop bowl 16.5cm, pattern number 86, crown, crossed batons and D marks in puce, the beaker of plain tapering form, painted in the manner of Edward Withers with colourful sprays and sprigs of flowers, red line rim, together with two Derby teacups, a coffee cup and two later saucers, circa 1785-90 and 1820 All fluted and painted with pattern number 117 by Zachariah Boreman, depicting oval landscape vignettes reserved on a salmon pink ground with gilded chain and zig zag borders, crown, crossed batons and D marks in blue and red (9)
