A very rare Derby plate painted with birds and another in the style of Richard Dodson, circa 1800-1820
The first with a circular panel painted with four birds flying in a blue sky, within a trailing border interspersed with pink and green flowerheads and a similar outer border, 24.5cm, puce mark, the other with a group of fancy birds perched on a tree within an elaborately gilded border, 22cm, mark in red (2)
