A comprehensive and impressive suite of Stourbridge 'rock crystal' glass, probably Stevens and Williams, circa 1870-80
Moulded with lappet panels finely engraved in the chinoiserie style with trailing branches of blossom, with petal-shaped feet, engraved with borders of similar flowers, comprising a set of eleven hock glasses flashed in pink, sepia and pale green, 13cm, and a jug of upright shape with loop handle, flashed in sepia, 30cm, a ewer and stopper, globular with tall faceted neck, loop handle and globular engraved stopper with pointed finial, 34cm, another similar with compressed ovoid body, 27.5cm, three similar smaller decanters and stoppers, 26.5cm, two decanters and stoppers, 34cm, a water jug, of conical shape, 25cm, an oval dessert dish, 25.5cm wide, six dessert bowls and stands, stands 15cm diameter, seven champagnes, ten large tumblers, 11cm, eight small tumblers, 9cm, four claret glasses, 16.2cm, eleven small liqueurs, 9cm, eight large liqueurs, 11cm, eight sherry glasses, 12.5cm, six port glasses, 12cm, thirteen hock glasses, 13.5cm, and five posy vases, 8cm (128)
