An American open face pocket watch
The circular silvered dial with stylised blue Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, (hand deficient), and foliate decoration to centre, to lever movement signed 'Illinois Watch Co, Springfield', labelled 'The Marquis Autocrat' and numbered '4270530', the engine-turned case with vacant scrolling cartouche and foliate engraved sides, stamped '14k' and numbered '538081', case diameter 4.4cm.
