Three Luristan bronzes
Iran, circa 10th-7th Century B.C.
Including a spike-butted flanged axehead, 9in (23cm) long; a whetstone handle in the form of an ibex, 6¼in (16cm) long; and a hammered plaque, decorated with a central register of stylised standing figures wearing kilts with extended arms, a couple facing each other on the right, above and below a frieze of mythical creatures with lion's body and bull's head and another band of rosettes, 6in (15cm) high (3)
