A George II silver salver

Of circular form, on three scroll acanthus capped feet, the shaped rim interspersed with shell motif, the centre engraved with contemporary armorials in a rococo floral cartouche, with inscription below and surrounded by floral, shell and scale detail scrolling border, the reverse also with engraved inscription, diameter 42cm, weight 69.56oz.
