A George III silver swing handled basket
by Robert Hennell II, London 1781
Of oval form, the pierced sides with five levels of bands of varying combinations of urn cartouche, swags and buds, with beaded rim and on pierced foot also with beaded rim, the handle with bright cut engraving, the centre engraved with a coat of arms (rubbed), length 36.5cm, weight 22.2oz.
