A large carved oak chimneypiece
Third quarter 19th century
The gadrooned top above a fielded central panel carved with a green man mask and trailing garlands of flowers and fruits, within pierced scrolling trusses and egg and dart moulded aperture, on carved plinth bases, includes a pair of additional columns and raised top with may have been the frame for a over mantel plate, 181cm wide, 167.5cm high (71" wide, 65.5" high). The appature 122cm wide, 101.5cm high .
