A George III and later games table
The hinged top incorporating a recessed chequer board and enclosing a back gammon board above a candle slide to one side and a drawer to the other, on square tapering legs lined with boxwood stringing, this Edinburgh card table has been adapted circa 1900 to incorporate the games boards, 63cm wide, 72.5cm deep, 46cm high (24.5" wide, 28.5" deep, 18" high).
