A Victorian painted satinwood display cabinet
In the manner of Wright and Mansfield
The arched top with ribbon tied crest above a painted frieze depicting a mother and child within a border of roses and laurel leaves, the central astragal door painted with tied ribbon swags flanked by concave glass panels and enclosing two glass shelves, above a chequer lined border and further floral painted swags on lapetted tapering legs with painted palmette capitals united by a concave undertier, the back with the following impressed stamp 8254 DESIGN 5777 3, 124cm wide, 40.5cm deep, 207cm high (48.5" wide, 15.5" deep, 81" high).
