A George III mahogany Chinese Chippendale style armchair
The foliate carved top rail above a trellis frame, (section of the back missing) above a drop-in seat with a later embroidered cover depicting of Walter Raleigh, Elizabeth I and a Royal attendant, within a stylised floral landscape incorporating a castle, on moulded square section legs with pierced spandrel brackets, 55.5cm wide, 46cm deep, 93cm high (21.5" wide, 18" deep, 36.5" high).
