Comprising an elongated ivory example, the lid inset with geometric designs in yellow metal, centred with a blue enamel and glass roundel, two abalone shell gilt-metal mounted egg shaped boxes, two circular pique decorated boxes, the first and largest example with classical ruins, and foliate border, the second centred with a urn issuing flowers, a rectangular horn snuff mull the tortoiseshell lid inlaid with white metal designs, a rectangular paper maché example painted with a depiction of a male and female figures in Russian dress in a wooded landscape, and a circular horn box with a yellow metal ball moulded border and central oval glass section, (8).
