An oak and mahogany banded longcase clock
The 14 inch brass dial with Roman and Arabic chapter ring enclosing subsidiary seconds and date dials within pierced spandrels, the twin train movement striking a bell, within a swan neck hood with inlaid cluster pilasters, above a corresponding trunk with cross-banded door, on a panel box base and later feet, case late George III probably from the North West of England, dial and chapter ring with late 19th century elements, 232.5cm high.
