A Regency mahogany longcase clock
The 14 inch arched dial painted to the spandrels and arch with scenes emblematic of the British Empire, enclosing a white dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials, the twin train movement striking a bell, enclosed by a swan-neck hood above a cross-banded trunk door, on box base and bracket feet, 237cm high.
