A French ormolu and Sèvres pattern porcelain mounted clock garniture
The 3 1/2 inch circular dial with Roman numerals, the twin drive train movement striking a bell, contained within an arched foliate cast ormolu case above a central panel painted with a lady and gentleman in 18th century dress, raised on a breakfront base set with porcelain panels, the central oval panel painted with a female portrait, on lotus clasped feet, and a giltwood plinth, together with a pair of three branch gilt-metal and porcelain mounted candlesticks with lobed giltwood plinths, the clock 34cm wide, 16cm deep, 39cm high, the candle sticks 18cm wide, 10cm deep, 26cm high, (3).
