A waterline model of the Passenger ferry PS Dandie Dinmont 1866
Built by J Garven Wood in 1991. Composite hull, painted black to the waterline with white superstructure. Cream decks with inscribed plank lines. Details include passenger benches, ship's boats on davits. Set on a moulded painted sea in an acrylic case. 36.5x8.5x11ins. (93x22x28cm)

Footnotes

  • Built by A&J Inglis, Glasgow in 1895 for the North British Steam Packet Co. Dunoon service. She remained on station during WW1 but was laid up during 1926/27 and then was sold to the London & North Eastern Railway's Hull-New Holland service and renamed the PS Frodingham. She was broken up in Ghent in 1936.
