A pair of famille rose pale-green-glazed 'Bodhi-leaf' dishes
18th century
The shallow dishes crafted with extreme delicacy and incised with leaf ribs on the interior corresponding to raised ribs on the underside, the dish finely enamelled with insects including a brown-winged and a pink-winged butterfly, caterpillars including one creeping around the rim, and a tiny iron-red ladybird. Each 11.5cm (4½in) long (2).
