Typically painted in delicate blue and neatly enamelled in rich translucent green with two five-clawed dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls between stiff lappets at the foot and a narrow ruyi-head band below the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, at the shoulder, the cover with a central coiled dragon. 21cm (8¼in) high (2).
