A large green-glazed 'basket-weave' dish
14th century
The broad circular well incised with a repeating square pattern to simulate basket-weave, surrounded by leafy lotus scrolls around the rim, the exterior undecorated, all covered in a thick glaze of yellow-green hue.
45.4cm (17 7/8in) diam.
