A massive pair of Chinese famille verte enameled porcelain covered vases

Of ovoid section surmounted by fitted lids with large molded lion dog finials and supported by slightly flared feet, the exterior surfaces covered in concentric rings of intricately rendered ogival reserves of fabulous beasts and birds and flowers, with gilt lacquered soft wood stands with archaistic carved aprons.
