The relief cast dial with portrait of Louis XIV, Roman numeral plaquettes, time and strike movement engraved Francois le Doux à Amiens, behind an arched glazed door and conforming case applied with seated figure holding a key in each hand, surmounted by a figure holding a torchère, on scrolled feet with maiden busts, all on associated tapered bracket decorated with smiling masks of children.
