A Régence style giltwood and gesso side table, probably second quarter 19th century
The slightly breakfront top with later white marble above a pierced frieze carved with a bearded mask and two subsidiary blank cartouches within garlands of foliate scrolls, each side centred by a scallop shell, on cabriole legs decorated with floral garlands united by an x-stretcher with corresponding decoration (some losses), 131cm wide x 54cm deep x 99.5cm high.
