Footnotes

  • Note:
Timothy T. Jones & Son was established in 1853 at 330 George Street, Sydney and was listed in Sands' Directory of 1863 as "Watchmaker, Manufacturing Jeweller and Optician. Importer of English and French clocks, watches, jewellery". It's presumed that stock was imported from it's parent company T. Jones of Ludgate Hill, London.
