An Australian silver claret jug
engraved "Australian Sheepbreeders Association Presented by E.A. Wynne Esq. Melbourne for the Best Lincoln Ewe under 1 1/2 years old awarded to Robert Wood 1878," raised on a stepped and fluted foot, the ovoid body fine chased and engraved flowerheads and scrolls between bands of stiff leaves, leaf capped scroll handle and hinged cover, marked 'STERLING SILVER', 36cm (14") high, 700gms (22oz) .
