the gallery back with central roundel, foliate carved panels and s-scrolled finials above two rectangular shelves with a thumb moulded edge and rounded corners on carved supports above a bottom shelf with two single drawers, raised on lobed feet with ceramic castors, with paper label to left drawer, ' JAMES LAWSON/CABINET MAKER & UPHOLSTERER/265 GEORGE STREET/SYDNEY', 142cm wide, 43cm deep, 147cm high (55.5" wide, 16.5" deep, 57.5" high).
