raised on a stepped foot, knopped stem, the bowl with applied girdle and angled loop handles, raised on wooden plinth with gold placque engraved 'The Rosehill Cup 1 Mile and 3 Furlongs. Won by J.E&C.H Brien's "Pantheon" Imp Top weight 9-11. Time 2 mins 20.5 secs. 17.9.27" marked "W.Kerr 19c" and label "W.KERR Jeweller 542-544 Geo. St Sydney",the cup 24cm (9.5") high, 31cm (12") high overall, 694grams (22.3oz). (9 carat pink gold)
