An Australian cedar secretaire chest
Circa 1845
the rectangular top with thumb moulded edge above a secretaire drawer enclosing an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers with ebony and mother of pearl turned handles, above a pair of cupboard doors flanked by turned columns, raised on a plinth base, 121.5cm wide, 53cm deep, 103cm high (47.5" wide, 20.5" deep, 40.5" high).
