An Australian silver goblet
by Henry Steiner, Adelaide, circa 1880
the bowl engraved "Clare Stallion Show, July 1882 First prize for Blood Stallion presented by W.H Young Esq won by" within a fern leaf and wheat sheaf cartouche, the reverse set with a cast medallion of two horses signed J Moore, marked "H.STEINER/Queen Victoria's head /lion passant", 20 cm (7.5") high, 320 gms (10.3 oz).
