A yellow-ground cloisonné-enamelled and gilt-bronze 'floral' snuff bottle
Late Qing dynasty
The teardrop-shaped bottle with a band of ruyi around the cylindrical neck, all vividly enamelled in a combination of white, red, pink and green to the continuous scene of leafy sprays issuing from rockworks, with blossoming peonies on one side and chrysanthemum flowers on the reverse, all against a rich yellow ground.
5.8cm high.

壺成瓶形，溜肩，直頸，鼓腹，橢圓形淺圈足。壺周身以黃色琺瑯為地，並以掐絲技法分別於壺兩面製牡丹及菊花從山石中綻放而出，掐絲所飾山石紋圍繞圈足連通壺底，所有紋飾填以紅、白、綠、藍、粉色琺瑯釉，花瓣飽滿，枝葉茂盛，菊花象徵長壽，牡丹象徵富貴。壺口外壁掐絲飾如意雲頭紋一周並填以藍色琺瑯釉。壺底施綠釉。
