Footnotes

  • A porcelain snuff bottle dated to the Daoguang period with similar design of the dragon moulded in relief from the Russell and Merced Mullin collection is illustrated by Hugh Moss and Stuart Sargent, This Snuff Bottle Monkey Business - The Mullin Collection and Its Story, Hong Kong, 2012, p.351, pl.136, where the author suggests the slightly more complex design of the five-clawed dragon in relief was intended for immediate members of the Imperial family. For another example with similar design from the collection of Anthony K. W. Cheung, see Tina Yee-wan Pang ed., Heavenly Creations, Chinese Snuff Bottles from the Collections of Anthony Cheung, Humphrey Hui, Po-ming Kwong, Tuyet Nguyet and Christopher Sin, Hong Kong, 2005, p.83, pl.113.

詳見Hugh Moss與Stuart Sargent著,《This Snuff Bottle Monkey Business - The Mullin Collection and Its Story》,香港,2012年,頁351,編號136。
