Guangzhou, Qianlong black-enamelled four-character mark and of the period
The body of an elongated cylindrical form with a gilded flat lip and a protruding flat footrim, the exterior intricately enamelled to the scene of two birds amidst flowering leafy sprays and tree shrubs below bands of archaistic lappets around the neck and above a band of vine scrolls at the foot, all against a stippled blue ground, the base with four-character mark.
